Episode Ten – Mixed Feature: Asian_Soph

We’ve come the the end of a saga! This episode starts off a bit heavy with talking about the gaps in the American Education system when it comes to Asian Americans and Japanese Americans in particular. This had a part in shaping Soph’s experience and identity and is a very important part of the conversation when we’re talking about what it means to be Mixed Japanese American in this day and age.

Don’t worry, we get light hearted too! What do your looks have to do with going to the restroom? Listen and find out because it’s just one of the crazy things people have said to us.

On a different note, I just wanted to let you know Some Kind of Brown will be moving to every two weeks for a while and if you’re curious as to why, follow me on Twitter and Instagram at Some Kind of Brown.

Have a colorful day!
